In The Reading of Daniel

Hi Ladies.
Well, its been awhile since I have written anything. I usually only write when God gives me something. Today is one of those days.

I have been seeking God very strongly and fervently on what PLAN and PURPOSE HE has for me. I have been seeking DIRECTION from HIM. My father gave me DIRECTION today. To start reading DANIEL. While reading Daniel, There is a "Letter" written called "Dear Women of Destiny" this is the name of my Bible. This letter was written by Mary Forsythe and I felt led to share it with you. It ministered to me greatly and deeply. I hope you will be blessed by it.

Dear Woman of Destiny,

I believe that you are a woman of destiny and that God has a special plan and unique purpose for your life. He has something very specific for you and is calling you foward to fulfill this destiny!
All over the earth there is a deep cry in the hearts of people to know the purpose they are to fulfill. Have you sensed a stirring in your own heart to understand the plan for your life? That stirring is the Holy Spirit drawing you and calling you closer so that your desires, motives,attitudes and actions agree with God's specific plan for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord says that He has thoughts of peace toward you and plans to give you a future and a hope. Since the beginning of time God has had a specific and special plan for you to fulfill.
One of the enemy's tactics to distract us from the Lord's plans is tempting us to compare our lives and circumstances with those around us. It is important to understand what God has and has not gifted, equipped and called us to do. I can't look at how anointed my friend is at leading worship and decide that is what I want to do. God did not give me the talents or voice to lead others into His presence through music. I am one who makes joyful noise to the Lord! To grow in our understanding of the destiny God has for us, we need to seek Him through prayer, His Word and wise counsel.
We are in a time when God is moving His people into their appointed positions. We must seek the Lord to know where He is asking us to go. Now is a time to stay flexible and willing to adjust to any changes that God is bringing into our lives.
Daniel 1:7 reveals that when Daniel was taken captive, his captors changed his name to one that reflected their pagan beliefs, but Daniel purposed in his heart not to let his new name or difficult circumstances define his future(see Daniel 1:8). He knew his circumstances would not hinder the plan of God for his life. Daniel didn't let the pressure of captivity deflate his hopes and dreams for God's plans for him to be fulfilled. I believe that living with the stresses and temptations of this age, we need the tenacious attitude that is so evident in Daniel. He refused to fall into the snare of doubt and think that God's plan for his life wouldn't come to pass just because times got a little tough.
You might find yourself in very difficult situations and in your own personal "captivity." The enemy wants to hinder your journey of fulfilling your destiny by distracting you with doubt,fear, and unbelief. God has not forgotten you. Let me assure you that the plans to see you through this time of captivity are in motion. The Lord wants you to resist thoughts of fear and doubt and tenaciously believe that you are going to fulfill His plan for you as a woman of destiny!

I have read and reread this over and over today. I have been wondering for awhile now what God's plan and purpose is for me in this part of my life now. I have been emotional alot. No, it has nothing to do with being a female. It is something in my heart, but I don't know what it is. I was sitting here on Sunday, tears just pouring from my eyes, not crying, just tears pouring down my face. I was wondering why was this happening? and then when I read this today, I got it. God is preparing me for something NEW. He is cleansing me thru my tears. He is preparing my heart for a CHANGE. He is preparing me for the next step of reaching the DESTINY HE has chosen for me. He is looking into my heart and finding what it is that HE wants me to do. Is it a NEW ministry? Is it a NEW journey? Is it giving something up to do something else? I don't have the answers yet. But, rest assured I am here waiting on MY LORD, MY FATHER to reveal it to me. When He does, no matter what it is, I will do what MY FATHER has asked me to do. Because, HE has prepared me "FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS."
I hope in the coming days, that the words I share will be a blessing to you. I ask that you please pray for me as God gets ready to reveal what it is that He is birthing in me. That the Holy Spirit will also continue to reveal itself thru my praying and fasting.
I love each and everyone of you. Its always my prayer that you all hear Gods voice when He speaks. I pray for each one of you. I am excited to see what the Lord is doing in and thru me and excited to see what He is doing in your lives.

EVERYONE IS GODS CHILD.....

Acts 2:17 "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my spirit on ALL people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." (NIV)

Yesterday being Pentecost Sunday, at Gulf Coast Assembly of God this day took on a very SPECIAL meaning.

In our Vision Statement it reads: To be a church where people of ALL countries and colors feel at home.

On Pentecost Sunday, 2011, We welcomed 2 NEW Ministry families into Gods House. We welcomed our HAITIAN and RUSSIAN brothers and sisters. They will be holding their services at our church beginning this week. We now have American/Afro American, Spanish, Haitian and Russian Ministries.

The love and warmth was felt by all. God brought ALL His people together. During Praise and Worship a young Russian Girl came to the alter with her hands held high Praising Jesus and letting Him know SHE IS FREE TO LIVE FOR HIM. During our Special Music the song our Worship Leader sang one our young Haitian boys was in the aisle dancing. Total Freedom. A Freedom that only comes from JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Jesus wants us to love everyone. Not those we "select" to love. He wants us to love everyone. He wants us to be in one accord. No division of race or ethenticity. Together He wants to be hand in hand with one another, claiming that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD AND SAVIOR.

In these last days, let us live the way Jesus wants us to live. In harmony with one another and embracing ALL PEOPLE.....

GODS WORD TO ME: PERSEVERE & PRESS ON...

JAMES 1:12 "Blessed is the man who PERSEVERES under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."

This is a BLOG post that i originally entered in 2010. I am doing a repeat on it, the Lord has been placing it on my heart that i need to share it again. I dont question HIM when HE lets me know HE wants me to do something...I will be updating at the end....

As you read this for some, you have read it before. For some this is your first time. But we always need to be reminded that WE NEED TO PERSEVERE and PRESS ON...

Just before the start of 2010, God very clearly said to me one word "PERSEVERE". Little did I know that the following months were going to be filled with TRIALS and TRIBULATIONS....Life changing situations that would affect my life forever...and that one word "PERSEVERE" would be with me daily.

Life as I knew it would never be the same.....

From coming as close as losing "everything" that I held so dear to me, I had to PERSEVERE and go on.....

God has walked me thru these valleys....when I thought Icould no longer hold on or go on, HE CARRIED ME....He was right by my side.....He has taught me what true PERSEVERENCE is.....

No matter what you are going thru, God is there with you....there are three things you must do to get through these trials and tribulations:

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
PATIENCE WITHOUT QUESTION
PERSEVERENCE TO WIN THE RACE...

The scripture that the Lord gave me with this word "PERSEVERENCE" is LUKE 1:37 "For with God nothing will be impossible."

My personal walk with the Lord has become something very special and intimate during these passed months. My strength in HIM has become very strong. When I am WEAK, HE IS STRONG....FINALLY, I SAY CONTINUOUSLY WITHOUT CEASING: "I WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT."

UPDATE:
Here it is 2011. May 11, 2o11 to be exact. The end of 2010 was heartbreaking. My husbands dump truck business ended. We filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. We lost our home that we had built when we moved here 7 yrs ago. Many tears were shed....In Gods bottle I could have filled many.....I lost my job, Carl worked 2 jobs that he disliked immensley....But, through it all GOD HAD HIS HAND UPON US...GOD provided a HOME for us....A beautiful home (it was once we gutted the inside) that my Aunt and Uncle own, which is only 2 blocks from where we lived....We are renting it for now....GOD has BLESSED CARL WITH A GREAT JOB AT SCAT (COUNTY JOB) Driving buses, which he is loving....Carl and I are VERY BLESSED for what GOD has done for us and provided for us....

But everyday, I STILL HAVE TO PERSEVERE AND PRESS ON......

The most exciting thing for me personally that GOD has done recently, is that HE has opened the door for me to speak at a Womens Ministry Event in Largo, FL this month, May 28th....My hearts desire has been to be able to go out and speak to women....Let them know they are not ALONE in whatever situation they are dealing with.....This is my FIRST speaking engagement outside of my church. I am blessed and humbled that God has given me this opportunity and that a dear friend of mine has made this possible by asking me to speak to her ladies...

So, my beautiful friends, that is a fast forward as to what has been going on....

GOD IS FAITHFUL....
GOD IS THE PROVIDER....
GOD IS HEALER.....

You Are God's Work Of Art

EPHESIANS 2:10 NLT10 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Outwardly, you may not appear to be much of a masterpiece. You may look like a piece of junk. But inwardly, and in reality, you are God's work of art -- and God does not make any junk. All that is outward and seen is only temporary -- like the cocoon the butterfly inhabits for only a short time. So, while you should take care of your present body, don't be overly concerned about it. Most importantly, don't think of yourself as just the body you are now living in.You are a child of Almighty God, creator and ruler of the universe. Someone God is "raising" to be His companion for eternity. You are NOT insignificant. Admittedly, you are a work in progress. God still has more work to do with you -- but He is the artist, and He will finish His work. (Hint: as you submit to God, the easier it is for Him to change you into the wonderful image He has in mind.)Someday, everyone will clearly see what God has done in you: making you a wonderful, unique individual worthy of Himself. SAY THIS: Regardless of how I look or feel, I AM God's work of art -- His masterpiece.

Don't Grow Weary

GALATIANS 6:9 NIV9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

God has a harvest of blessing in mind for you. Don't let the devil steal it away from you by discouraging you into giving up. Trust in God. He is able to put you over. Time has a way of wearing us down -- of eroding our hopes and dreams. We must look to God for strength and courage and refuse discouragement. We must, with God's help, overcome -- instead of being overcome by life and circumstances. Life is not easy. There are obstacles and unexpected turns in the road. But always God is with us, for us, and in us as believers in Jesus Christ. When we grow weary in doing good, it is always because we are losing sight of God and eternity.As you walk in faith and refuse to give up -- you bring glory and pleasure to God. Imagine how it thrills God when someone, like you, continues to trust in Him and thank Him -- even when it does not look like it is working out very good. Read theBible. You are not the first to be tested, or have to wait forthe promise to be manifested. But God is always faithful. He will never fail you. Our faith cannot be in ourselves or our ability -- because that can fail. Only God cannot fail, so we must keep our faith in Him and His ability to sustain us and help us. Remember that as a believer, the Greater One is in you -- and He is greater than any problem or difficulty. He will help you. God has the answer for your situation. Look to Him and you will not be disappointed.

SAY THIS: I will not be discouraged. I will not quit. I willtrust in Almighty God, my Father, Who loves me and helps me.

Good Morning,

Happy Saturday everyone.....

It is wonderful to have my computer back up and running.....Isn't it amazing how we can miss a machine so much?

To me. my computer isnt just another" toy. It links me to the outside world, where I can REACH OUT to women who are miles and miles away from me. It allows me to be able to PRAY WITH THEM, PRAY FOR THEM, "TALK TO THEM WHEN THEY NEED A SHOULDER"....

My computer is used as a TOOL to get the word of JESUS CHRIST out into a world that is dying without knowing Christ. Recently, I had someone ask to be MY FRIEND on Facebook.....She had written me a message saying "PLEASE BE MY FRIEND, I have read your POSTS on FB and they are such an encourgement to me." Before I "FRIEND" anyone I look to see if we have any MUTUAL FRIENDS....This young lady and I had quite a few mutual friends...So we have become friends....She writes me everyday and thanks me for these scriptures, notes....I told her not to thank me, but to thank JESUS for bringing us together....That this is ALL for HIS GLORY....

From this little machine we can SEND OUT THE WORD THAT JESUS IS ALIVE.....We can make a difference in someones life that we don't even know.....but JESUS does......

I thank you JESUS for making a way to have my computer fixed, so that I can use it to get YOUR WORD out to those who dont know you. Thank you for allowing me to be an INSTRUMENT and a VESSEL in your army. Lord, I just pray that you continue to USE ME....FILL ME LORD TO OVERFLOWING....MOLD ME IN THE WAY YOU WANT ME TO BE....GUIDE ME ALWAYS IN YOUR WAYS.....I THANK YOU JESUS FOR MAKING ME INTO THE WOMAN YOU WANT ME TO BE.....I AM STILL A WORK A PROGRESS AND WILL BE UNTIL YOU CALL ME HOME....

Press On

PHILIPPIANS 3:13-14 WEYMOUTH
13 ...one thing I do -- forgetting everything which is past and
stretching forward to what lies in front of me,
14 with my eyes fixed on the goal I push on to secure the prize
of God's heavenward call in Christ Jesus.

Believers face many difficulties. Trials. Adversaries. Doubts.
At times we're all tempted to quit. The struggle seems too
much, and we wonder if it's worth it to continue, to hold on to
our faith when there seems to be no hope left.

But there is a goal -- supremely worthwhile: life with our
wonderful Lord. Not just existence, but intimate fellowship.

Fix your eyes on the goal -- God Himself -- and press on!

1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 NIV
9 God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus
Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Please read the following verses slowly and thoughtfully.

1 PETER 5:7-10 NCV
7 Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you.
8 Control yourselves and be careful! The devil, your enemy,
goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat.
9 Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith.
You know that your Christian family all over the world is
having the same kinds of suffering.
10 And after you suffer for a short time, God, who gives all
grace, will make everything right. He will make you strong and
support you and keep you from falling. He called you to share
in his glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever.

Space does not permit much comment on these verses, but notice
that suffering is caused by your enemy, the devil, and its
purpose is to attack your faith.

Also notice that God only allows you to suffer a short time.

"But," you say, "it's already been a long time."

Not really. It seems like a long time when you are going
through trials, but afterward seems like a short time. Even a
few years is nothing when you look back on it. Ask God to help
you see things from Heaven's perspective.

"But why does God allow me to suffer at all?"

Because people make wrong choices. Conflict causes suffering.
But God believes in you! Why should He yank you out of the
arena? God believes that with His grace and help, you will
overcome and experience victory.

The end result is what really counts. God will make everything
turn out alright. (Read verse 10 again.)

Maybe you feel like your faith is barely hanging by a thread.
Just hang on. With God holding the thread -- and He is -- your
faith will survive. You will make it! God will help you.

SAY THIS: I will press on with God. I will not quit or give up
on my faith.

Change Your Name

REVELATION 2:17 NIV
17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden
manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name
written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter, which means a rock.

God changed Abram's name to Abraham, which means father of a
multitude.

Jacob's name was changed to Israel.

God's messenger called Gideon a "mighty man of valor" when he
saw himself as a fearful loser.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 NIV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the
old has gone, the new has come!

As a Christian believer, you are a new creation in Christ, and
you are no longer a loser.

So quit calling yourself a loser -- or any negative name. Now
that you are in Christ, those negative names do not fit. Accept
the new name God gave you: "Winner." (This is what overcomer
means!)

1 JOHN 5:4 NIV
4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the
victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Is it that easy? It involves more than just calling yourself a
new name, but if you fail to change the way you talk about
yourself, and the way you think about yourself, you will
continue in the same old patterns of defeat.

You must begin to see yourself as God sees you, to see yourself
as you can become.

Consider calling yourself some of the following names which
reflect what the New Testament reveals about your new identity
in Christ.

Forgiven
Forgiver
Child Of God
Bold
Confident
Patient
Kind
Strong
Righteous
Rich
Healthy
Blessed
Joyful

SAY THIS: I am a new person in Christ, and God has given me
some new names.

GOOD MORNING,

Isn't it wonderful that the LORD has given us yet another BEAUTIFUL week to do HIS work and to be a BLESSING in EVERYONES life?

I will be praying for each and everyone of you. I pray that you have a blessed week at your place of work, at school and at home. I know we all are going thru things. Whether its FINANCIAL, SICKNESS, PEER PRESSURE, MARRIAGE SITUATIONS PLEASE REMEMBER THIS....."GOD IS WITH YOU" WHEREVER YOU ARE....HE WILL BE THERE TO HELP YOU, IF YOU JUST HUMBLE YOURSELF AND SURRENDER ALL TO HIM.....

Father, In the week ahead I ask that you touch each person who reads this. Touch them body, soul and mind. Be with them as they travel....Be with them at school..Give them strength when they grow weary....Give them knowledge where it is needed. Give each person a FRESH ANOINTING to do the work that YOU want them to do. Lord, I just ask that you BLESS each one as they go into this week. Let them not FORGET to give you THANKS in everything they do...We pray this in the beautiful name , a name above ALL names JESUS...amen.....

THE LORD IS YOUR HELPER...

The Lord Is Your Helper

HEBREWS 13:6 NRSV
6 So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will
not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?"

Can you imagine how things could improve if God Himself was
helping you?

It can happen.

But, to receive God's help you must cooperate with Him.

God is ready, willing, and able to help you. He desires to help
you. But the choice is yours.

When you act contrary to God's principles, you stop God from
helping you as much as He desires.

To cooperate with God, you must trust Him and walk in faith.
You must agree with God and speak in agreement with His Word.
And you must walk in love. To do that, constant meditation on
God's Word will be required.

You will also need to humble yourself and ask the Lord to help
you in everything you do. God does not force His help on you
without you requesting His help.

Does this sound too hard? It's not. Just ask the Lord to help
you and He will!

ISAIAH 41:10 NIV
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I
am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold
you with my righteous right hand.

ROMANS 8:31 NIV
31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for
us, who can be against us?

SAY THIS: God is for me. God is my Helper! I will not worry or
be afraid.

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH....

The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength

NEHEMIAH 8:10 NLT
10 . . . Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is
your strength!"

I do not claim it is the only meaning, but one thing the Lord
showed me from this verse is that our level of joy is like a
thermometer revealing our spiritual strength. If our joy is low
-- our spiritual strength is low. That is because the Lord is
our strength, and in His presence there is fullness of joy.

PSALM 16:11 NKJ
11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is
fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

So, if our joy is low, it means we have not been spending time
in God's presence, receiving His strength and help. It means we
have got our focus off God and onto something else.

(Although God is always with us, as we worship Him and praise
Him and thank Him, God manifests His presence.)

Being gloomy is not a sign of being spiritual. God did not
intend for His people to be downcast. Let the world be sad, we
have something to rejoice about! Jesus! Heaven!

If you look at your circumstances you may not feel like
rejoicing. But if you look at Jesus as He truly is -- you will
not be able to keep from rejoicing in Him. Jesus is wonderful!

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 NLT
4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again -- rejoice!

SAY THIS: I will rejoice in the Lord!

God's Word Is Medicine

God's Word is medicine � for any weakness or sickness in body,
mind, finances, family, marriage, etc.

Whatever sickness or disease you suffer from, God's Word can
cure it. God's Word is effective for any condition. It works as
a preventative as well as a cure. There is no cost and no
danger of taking an overdose.

Like any medicine, God's Word must be taken to be effective. It
will not work sitting on the shelf. And it has to be taken
according to the directions.

But if you will follow God's directions as faithfully as you
would follow the directions of a human doctor, you will see
wonderful results.

Here are the directions:

PROVERBS 4:20-23 NKJ
20 My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my
sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the
midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all
their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the
issues of life.

In verse 22 the Hebrew word translated health is translated as
medicine in some translations.

PSALM 107:20 NKJ
20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from
their destructions.

God's Word will heal. It is full of God's power and carries the
authority of God who spoke it.

JOHN 8:31-32 NKJ
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you
abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free."

You have the guarantee of Jesus � His Word will produce
freedom.

But, you must abide, or continue in His Word. You must feed it
in until you know that you know that you know the truth. Then
you will act on that truth � and it will make you free.

God's medicine works by taking His Word into your being. You
do that by listening to the Word, reading the Word, and
speaking the Word.

You must fill your thoughts with the Word of God. The more of
God's medicine you take, the better off you will be.

SAY THIS: I will take God's medicine daily and it will bring
healing into my life.

BE STILL....

IN PSALM 48:10 it says:

"Be still and know I am God."

For so many of us, it is hard to "BE STILL"...We are busy running to and fro. Saying "I must get this done today." Frantically, we think if it doesn't get done today, something earth shattering is going to happen.

We forget GOD HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL.....HE knows what NEEDS to get done today....HE knows what NEEDS to get done TOMORROW....HE KNOWS....HE KNOWS.....Over and over HE is telling us "Be still and know I am God."

Its through the STILLNESS that GOD speaks to us. He can't speak to us when we are running all the time....He DESIRES our ENTIRE SELF.....

Tears are running down my cheeks....They are tears of joy....Tears of contentment...Tears of feeling HIS presence as I write this....Tears of TOTAL SUBMISSION to THE LORD, MY FATHER...Tears of a daughter who loves her Father so much....

My Father has told me "BE STILL" and with those words I have obeyed....

Being Still before my Father, He has revealed that He has a NEW season opening for me. He is PREPARING me "FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS"......His words are like a song of Love to my heart. "Be Still, for I know the plans I have for you"....

Each one of us can have this intimate time with our Father.....

We need to take time out from busy schedules, slow down. enjoy the things that God has given us....Most important:

We need to listen to HIS words:

"BE STILL KNOW I AM GOD..."

I pray for each of you that read this, that it will be a blessing....to remind you, SLOW DOWN and BE STILL....

With all my heart, I love you all and pray that you are having a blessed week so far.....

WILL A LITTLE DAB DO YOU...NOT ME....I WANT MORE..

We had a great service today....The word that was brought forth was once again a timely one. The title of the message was "ARE YOU FULL"....For me, the one sentence that came through loud and clear was "WILL A LITTLE DAB DO YOU"....Will a "Little dab do you" when it comes to God? Do you just want ALOT of GOD on Sundays and then as you go through your week, you get an attitude of "OH, A LITTLE DAB" of GOD will get me through. Is this what we want?

I can say for myself, NO THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT...."A LITTLE DAB OF GOD IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THIS GIRL." I want a BIG DAB OF GOD EVERY DAY!!! I want my cup FILLED each and every day by my FATHER. I don't want to just give him the scraps of my days....He doesn't give me a "LITTLE DAB" when He is blessing me with miracles, so why should I only want to give Him a little DAB....

God wants us to consume ALL that He has for us. He wants US to consume HIM in our hearts, In our daily routines. He wants us to have that CONSUMING FIRE burning within us for HIM....

HEBREWS 12:29 "FOR OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE."

Lets not give GOD just a DAB of the consuming fire within us just on Sundays...Let that burning, consuming fire be given to HIM EVERY DAY...Let Him see that FIRE burning within you when you are in the work place...when you are in the grocery store, when you are at the gym...Wherever you are, Whatever you are doing, BRING GOD TO THE FOREFRONT AND DON'T JUST GIVE HIM A LITTLE DAB....GIVE HIM ALL YOU HAVE....LET HIM EMPTY YOU AND FILL YOU AGAIN AS THE NEW DAY DAWNS.....

Through ALL the darkness we may face and go through in our lives, we can be assured that JESUS is right there with us. Guiding us, leading us, protecting us and through that DARKNESS HE WILL BRING US TO THE LIGHT.....HIS LIGHT.....HIS PURPOSE.....HIS WILL....

We need to be OBEDIENT as we WALK through the DARKNESS with HIM. We can't say, "Lord this is not the way I WANT TO DO IT."....It's not up to us to TELL GOD THAT THIS IS NOT THE WAY...Remember HE KNOWS THE WAY.......

TRY walking in the LIGHT BY YOURSELF.....without JESUS....WALK IN THE "LIGHT" OF THE WORLD, a WORLD where not everyone knows JESUS. When you seem LOST they just ignore you. When you have JESUS, HE FINDS YOU and will NEVER IGNORE YOU....When you FALL they won't pick you up....When you have JESUS, HE IS RIGHT THERE TO PICK YOU UP.....When you say I QUIT I CANT GO ON....They will just let you quit....When you have JESUS, HE WON'T LET YOU QUIT OR GIVE UP, BECAUSE YOU ARE HIS CHILD AND HE LOVES YOU....

DARKNESS HAS TO COME BEFORE THE LIGHT.....However, I know, even though I may be walking in DARKNESS for a SEASON, MY LORD, MY FATHER, MY SAVIOR is right there beside me walking with me....During the DARKEST times of my LIFE, I know his arms are wrapped around me keeping me warm and safe....And PRAISE BE TO GOD, TOGETHER HE AND I WILL SEE THAT DARKNESS DISAPPEAR AND SHARE THE LIGHT THAT IS IN FRONT OF US....

I ask you today:

Wouldn't you rather WALK IN THE DARKNESS WITH JESUS, knowing that THE LIGHT is coming and HE IS THERE WITH YOU?

Over the past several weeks Pastor Keith has been doing a teaching on CHASING LIONS....It has been an inspiring teaching and last night was the conclusion....He gave us a hand out at the end entitled: A LION CHASERS MANIFESTO" It really ministered to me....I want to share it with you today and I hope it will also minister to you.....

NO!!! but, HE did it because HE LOVES us and wants his children to be FREE....We as HIS children, can at least try to live by these words....

RUN THAT RACE.....DON'T LOOK BACK.....JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD...TAKE RISKS....DON'T BE AFRAID, YOUR FATHER IS RIGHT THERE WITH YOU....

WALKING ON UNCHARTERED WATERS...FOLLOW ME....

"WALKING ON UNCHARTERED WATERS.....FOLLOW ME." Mighty words from the Father...

When I looked up the meaning "Unchartered" it said "moving in on UNKNOWN territory"

Wow how true is that for many of us right now?

Are you moving into an "Unknown" territory?

Does it frighten you? I hope not. God did not give us the Spirit of FEAR...

Does it make you wonder? Hopefully it does. For the Lord says " I know the plans I have for you."

Does it excite you to see what God has for you in this "Unchartered" Territory? My hope is that it does excite you and that you are preparing yourselves for what HE has in store for each of us.

"FOLLOW ME" God is saying in order to walk on those "unchartered" waters, you must "FOLLOW HIM" Because He needs YOU to be WILLING to TRUST HIM and WALK beside HIM as HE shows you what is ahead.....

Personally for myself, I am beginning that WALK ON UNCHARTERED WATER. I am excited for what is being revealed and for what is yet ahead. I will FOLLOW MY FATHER as HE walks along side me each step of the way.....

You Are God's Garden

1 CORINTHIANS 3:9 LB
9 We are only God's coworkers. You are God's garden, not ours;
you are God's building, not ours.

We discovered that God's Word is a seed (Luke 8:11). Now we see
that the Bible says that we, as believers, are God's garden --
the place where seed is planted.

The question for you to consider is: who determines the
harvest? God, or you?

(The harvest I speak of is the fruit, or result, of the Word of
God. The harvest of blessing that God's Word produces in your
life.)

I suggest that the harvest is mainly controlled by the one who
determines what seed is planted. Would you agree?

If wheat seed is planted, it is unreasonable to expect a
harvest of corn. If only a few seeds are planted, it is
unreasonable to expect a large harvest. Wouldn't you agree?

Yes, you are God's field, but He allows you a lot of freedom to
choose what will be produced in your life. And the main way you
choose is by choosing what seed will be planted in your heart
and mind.

You can choose something other than God's Word. You can also
choose different areas of God's Word. Planting different
scriptures will produce different results in your life.

If all you ever plant are scriptures on the new birth, you
cannot expect to have a huge harvest of healing or financial
blessing in your life. The choice is yours.

SAY THIS: I am God's garden. Lord, help me plant the seed of
your Word in me in abundance.

Good Morning Ladies,

I love when the Lord wakes us in the middle of the night with either a SCRIPTURE, a WORD or a PHRASE...

Well, That is exactly what HE did for me in the wee hours of this morning.... HE said "LET IT RAIN".....just those 3 words...."LET IT RAIN".....I laid in bed wondering what HE meant by "LET IT RAIN".......OPEN THE FLOODGATES OF HEAVEN...I reached over and picked up my Bible and I opened it and right in front of my eyes John 7:34 appeared and it was already highlighted...."He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

I know in my heart that HE is preparing me for a NEW SEASON....He knows the desires of my heart. He knows the plans He has for me and He's saying "Now is your time to RAIN AND OPEN THOSE FLOODGATES AND HAVE THE WORDS OF YOUR HEART FLOW LIKE RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. I have been preparing you to go and speak my word into the world. I will make it possible." "For you have obeyed me thru all trials. You have trusted me." "Now my daughter, you are ready to LET IT RAIN and to OPEN THE FLOODGATES and let your words flow."

My hearts desire is to reach out to women who need encouragement, who need to hear the word of GOD, who need to know that there is someone who believes in them, that they are not alone.....

This is an exciting time. God has blessed me with an opportunity to speak at my FIRST Women's Event outside of my church. On May 28, 2011 I will be speaking in Largo, Florida at Pastor Melissa Sutton's church. The freedom of the Holy Spirit is going to "FLOW LIKE RIVERS OF LIVING WATER". I thank you Lord, for trusting me, your daughter, to go forth and bring the word to these ladies.

In the days ahead as I prepare to speak Gods word, please pray for me. That God will use me in a mighty way. That all that is said and shared will bring GLORY to HIS name. That womens lives will be changed.

SOARING ON EAGLES WINGS.....Change is Coming. Renewal is Coming...A NEW Season is coming....

In ISAIAH 40:31 it says:

"But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint: (ESV)

THE EVERYDAY BIBLE AMPLIFIED VERSION BY JOYCE MEYER says it like this:

"But those who wait for the LORD(Who expect, look for and hope in Him) shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up (close to God) as eagles (mount up to the sun); they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Personally, I want to wait for the Lord....

As each NEW day begins I awaken with a joy of EXPECTATIONS...I set ALL my HOPE in HIM everyday. My strength is renewed, I have a NEW GOD GIVEN POWER to face each obstacle, each trial, each circumstance through the POWER OF THE LORD....I will MOUNT UP AND SOAR LIKE THE WINGS OF AN EAGLE, I have DETERMINATION....I will PERSEVERE and I will PRESS ON and not GROW WEARY....I will walk with my head held high....I will LIFT MY HANDS IN PRAISE AND GLORIFY MY FATHER FOR EVERYTHING HE DOES.....BECAUSE HE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW....

I would like to encourage you, whatever trial or situation or circumstance you are going through, don't get downhearted.....Remember these words:

EXPECT- ONLY THE BEST THINGS IN YOUR LIFE...THE THINGS THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU

HOPE- FOR A BRIGHTER TOMORROW, BECAUSE GOD IS IN IT.....

POWER- THAT NO WEAPON AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER....

STRENGTH- I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH....

The Journey of 2010.....

Good Morning Ladies,

Its been awhile since I have been here to blog....

So many things have changed....

The journey of 2010 was a very long journey...It was a journey of EMOTIONS...It was a journey of TRIALS.....It was a journey of the UNKNOWN.

2010 was a journey that GOD had destined for me. A journey that brought me CLOSE to HIM...this journey was a "I WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT" journey. It was also a journey of "PERSEVERENCE" and "PRESSING ON".....

2010 was the year that everything that my husband and I worked for was lost....

Our trucking business that we started when we moved here 6 yrs ago went under....

We went thru a CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY....

The house that we had built went into foreclosure....

There were times when I didn't know where our next meal would come from....

During this ENTIRE journey, I never questioned the Lord.....I knew HE had a PLAN and PURPOSE for me...He had given me the word "PERSEVERENCE" for 2010....Every where I went, everything I read the word PERSEVERE would be there somehow.....So, PERSERVERE is what I did.

My Scripture for 2010 was "With God all things are possible" and "I walk by FAITH and not by SIGHT" my daily word was "I am but the CLAY, I give MY LIFE to the POTTERS HAND." and I did....I gave it to the Lord....It wasnt always easy....There were alot of tears....

The Lord got me thru this.....

After 10 months of Carl working 2 jobs that he hated, God blessed him with a job that he had been trying for, for 10 months....He got the job with Sarasota County Bus Company called SCAT.....He is doing what he loves to do...DRIVE...

I had a job for about 8 months....God brought me that job when I needed it the most.....But, HE also took me out of it, when HE knew that I needed to be out of there, because HE knew changes were coming in our lives and that I would need to be present during these changes...

God blessed me so that I could receive UNEMPLOYMENT during this time....

Carl and I had to find a NEW home to live in. In the beginning it was stressful. I didn't want to give up my home....I was uncertain if we could find a home that we could take our 2 dogs, 2 birds and boo boo kitty with us....Those are my "children"....

Everyday, I prayed without ceasing....I kept "PERSEVERING" and "PRESSING ON"....."I WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT"....."WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE".....

God heard my prayers, HE heard the cries of my heart, He would let me know that HE was PRESENT, that HE was with me during this journey and HE would NEVER LEAVE ME....and HE never did.....

HE Blessed Carl and I and our "babies" with a wonderful home....My aunt and uncle owned a home just 2 blocks from where we had lived....They had moved up to New Hampshire.....The tenants that were in the house at the time were not good tenants.....But, that is another chapter for another time...but, with alot of help, blood, sweat and tears OUR HOME THAT THE LORD PROVIDED FOR US IS BEAUTIFUL....

I say all this to ENCOURAGE YOU....To let you know, that if you are going thru some trial or situation and I know we all are, DO NOT GIVE UP....DO NOT LET SATAN GET A HOLD ON THE SITUATION.....

PRAY, PERSEVERE, PRESS ON!!!! GOD HAS A PLAN AND PURPOSE AND A DESTINY FOR EACH ONE OF YOU!!!!!........

I MAY HAVE LOST ALL MATERIAL THINGS IN 2010.....BUT THE ONE THING THAT WASN'T TAKEN FROM ME AND COULD NEVER BE TAKEN FROM ME IS MY LOVE FOR MY FATHER, AND THE LOVE THAT MY FATHER HAS FOR ME....

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH-PERSEVERE!!!

HAPPY MONDAY LOVELY LADIES OF GOD....

Hoping that you all had a blessed weekend.....

I just want to start this week with prayer and THANK GOD for ALL He does for us....

Father God, Thank you for bringing us yet another NEW WEEK and NEW DAY....Thank you for bringing us thru good days and bad days....Thank you for loving us even tho we may fall or stumble, thank you for always being there to PICK US UP and to CARRY US when we needed it...
Father, I ask that you strengthen each lady who reads this and that she will bring it forth to those around them. For those Father who dont read this, touch them where they are....If they need a physical touch, TOUCH THEM...If they need REFRESHING IN THEIR MINDS, REFRESH THEM....You know what each of us need and we Thank You Father for what you have planned for us in the coming days....Let us remain strong in YOU and IN YOUR WORD...
I pray for each of my sisters, that THEY will have a HAPPY FULFILLED WEEK in their lives and that THEY KEEP YOU # 1 in their lives.....Thank you JESUS for all that you do and for what you are doing IN and THROUGH all of us....In Jesus name I pray....Amen

God is so good....He loves us so much....He doesnt like seeing us sad, discouraged or depressed....But, He knows sometimes that we need to "feel" these things....

I know many of you are going thru some rough patches...And I pray for each of you, that these burdens will be lifted....

As I woke this morning, before I even got out of bed, I looked around and said "Lord, thank you for loving me...Thank you for what you have provided carl and I with...It may not be ours forever, but for this moment it is OURS...It is ours until YOU decide what our next JOURNEY will be....Until that day, mark our steps and guide us in the coming days.." "THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT."

I woke with a NEW REFRESH mind....God is good at that.....Giving a RENEWED AND FRESH MIND.....I opened one of my DEVOTIONALS this morning and this is the SCRIPTURE that opened...
PROVERBS 24:16 (The Message) No many how many times you trip them up, God-loyal people dont stay down long." Thats because we have THE STRENGTH OF GOD IN US....He has given us a STRENGTH that sometimes we dont even know that we have....He will be there for us always, as long as we put our TRUST in him....SURRENDER ALL....

I keep seeing this word PERSEVERE....I opened the same devotional and the word at the top of the page was PERSEVERE...... HANG IN, HANG ON, HOLD ON....Thats what God is telling us to do.....

I want to encourge you again, that whatever you are going thru, BRING IT TO GOD.....LAY IT AT HIS FEET.....CRY OUT TO HIM, HE HEARS ALL YOUR CRIES AND KNOWS YOUR HEARTS.....THERE IS NOTHING THAT GOD CANT DO, AS LONG AS YOU BELIEVE and TRUST IN HIM....

When you see someone today, give them a HUG....Encourage them, they may just be going thru something and that hug will mean the world to them....Call someone that you haven't talked to in awhile.....

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH.......WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO......LADIES, STRONG AND TRUE IN GOD, WE ARE GOING TO PERSEVERE!!!!!!

Hebrews 10:36 "You need perseverence so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised."

I hope that this brings encouragement to you....I know, GODs WORD and HAND is upon Carl and I, and soon HE will be revealing what HIS PLAN is for us.....

PERSEVERE PERSEVERE PERSEVERE...

Good Morning Ladies,

this word PERSEVERE has been hitting me in the face everyday since 2010 began. Not really knowing why, but I knew that I knew that God had a reason for that word. Before I could really write on this word, i wanted the TRUE meaning of it...So, I went to the dictionary online (thank goodness for GOOGLE) LOL...and these are the definitions I found....

PERSEVERE- TO PERSIST IN SOMETHING, REMAIN CONSTANT AND STEADFAST TO A PURPOSE, TO AN IDEA OR TASK, IN THE FACE OF OBSTACLES OR DISCOURAGEMENT. REFUSE TO STOP....

I LOVE THIS ONE DEFINITION: HANG IN, HANG ON, HOLD ON....This goes right along with JOYCE MEYERS "LEAVE IT, DROP IT, LET IT GO" from her NEVER GIVE UP BOOK (I highly recommend reading this book).

Little did I know in the coming days ahead, that God was actually PREPARING me that I will need to PERSEVERE, but not to PERSEVERE with MAN...but, to PERSEVERE WITH MY FATHER, MY SAVIOR, MY CONSTANT COMPANION. CONSTANT (hmm thats in one of the definitions). Interesting dont you think?

Oh how the Devil hates when things are going SMOOTH.....He tries to kill steal and destroy whateva is good in your path....He will try ANYTHING....Thats where PESEVERE and PERSERVERANCE come in.

People will come and say horrible things to you and about you. Their tongues are not their own. The Devil has gotten a hold of them. And then that makes him happy for awhile. Until the person who was the "victim" says "NO" Devil you wont get the best of this situation. SO there we go, WE JUST PESEVERED PERSEVERED PERSEVERED. We remained steadfast and constant that this situation was not going to get the better of us. WE HUNG IN, HUNG ON AND HELD ON, with God by our side. Because we do not PERSEVERE on OUR OWN...ITs thru our RELATIONSHIP with GOD that gets us thru these times.

When I reflect about what has been going on in my life over the past year (and its only briefly), that I know I have PERSEVERED. I have remained CONSTANT and STEADFAST in my Love for the Lord, leaning on him in ALL situtions, during times of discouragement and hitting those obstacles and road blocks. Its during these times that HE, MY FATHER, MY DADDY is right beside me, guiding me and leading me and when things get really tough, thats when HE IS CARRYING ME.....

Just very recently, my husband and I were hit with a very hard ball....I felt as if my whole life was coming crashing down on us....I thought we were about to lose everything. For the first time in a long time, I CRASHED. I cried uncontrollably.....there was no consoling me for awhile. Then I got angry. I started yelling at the top of my lungs DEVIL YOU DO NOT HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THIS SITUATION OR ANY SITUATION....MY FATHER, IS BIGGER THAN YOU AND WE CLAIM RIGHT NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS, SATAN YOU ARE UNDER MY FEET, YOU ARE UNDER THE FEET OF MY HUSBAND, YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY IN OUR LIVES. NO WEAPON AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER....and as I was yelling this, A wave of peace came over me. I felt the HOLY SPIRIT and the LORDS PRESENCE sooo vividly.....I could feel my DADDYS arms around me and telling me "You my child, are precious to me. I am with you today and always. Just lean on me, do not lean upon yourself, just give your burdens to me. I will make everything right. You have obeyed me when I have tested you. You have shown me that you are a faithful and loving servant. I will carry you and yours during these times and tribulations. Just LEAN ON ME." these are the words that God told me during all this. And as I laid my weary head on my pillow, i felt true peace that EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE OK, because I have MY FATHER and I PERSEVERED PERSERVERED PERSEVERED.....

I encourage you, that if you are going thru something and most of us are, I just cant stress it enough, PERSEVERE PERSEVERE PERSEVERE....PRESS ON, HANG IN, HANG ON AND HOLD ON....Rely on The Lord in ALL things....Do not rely on your own understanding.

LUKE 37:1 "For with God all things will be possible."

I have a wonderful book from one of our Women Ministry Speakers/Leader its called "Quiet Places, Where The Father Speaks" it is written by Sandy Phinazee it is a 31 Day Womens Devotional and on Day 11 she wrote as if Jesus was talking "So, now, my daughter, wash your face, walk with your head held high and know that as long as you are submitted to Me, you have nothing to fear or dread." How comforting are these words. All we have to do is submit ourselves to HIM. HE makes it so easy.

I leave these words for you today....that they may encourage you and speak into your heart. If you know someone who is going thru something, speak to them, pray for them, ask them if there is anything you can do for them or just hug them and tell them "With God all things are possible."

I love you all.....Thank you to all my friends who have been praying for me and for my husband Carl. Also please just pray for a miracle of healing in my body also....Thats a whole other topic. LOL.....Thank you LaDonna for always being there for me when i need to talk. Deborah for praying with me yesterday when I was at my lowest point. To all my ECM sista's thank you for your prayers also....They all mean so much....

Good Morning Beautiful Ladies,

Well, its that time of the year again.....Holiday Season is upon us......I would like to share my thoughts on the whole "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" "MERRY CHRISTMAS" thing......

I am finding more and more people are truly forgetting what the TRUE meaning of CHRISTMAS is.....Which is really sad....

They forget that "A CHILD IS BORN UNTO US" on this day....The CHRIST CHILD....THE BABE OF MARY AND JOSEPH. HE LAYS IN THE MANGER NO CRIB FOR A BED.....

This is the "BIRTH" DAY OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST....

Its not about ALL the SHOPPING and ALL the GIFTS we can BUY and RECEIVE....

IT IS AND SHOULD BE ALL ABOUT THAT LITTLE BABE THAT WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 25TH in that MANGER....

I for one DO NOT respond when i am shopping and the cashier says "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" i answer her with "MERRY CHRISTMAS"......I know that its not "POLITICALLY" correct to say MERRY CHRISTMAS in our culture anymore.....BUT, MY LORD, MY SAVIOR WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 25TH and I WILL ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AND NEVER LET THAT GO....

People need to forget the "POLITICALLY CORRECT" thing and go by what their hearts say....I know in the retail they are not "ALLOWED" to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" but, if you are going to celebrate CHRISTMAS then say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" The birth of CHRIST.....

Think of ALL the THINGS Jesus has done for us.....CHRISTMAS should not be just ONE DAY a YEAR, we should hold this in our hearts THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE YEAR....Because JESUS does ALL THINGS FOR US ALL YEAR LONG.....NOT JUST ON DEC 25TH....If that was the case, we would really be in sad shape......

With all this said, I would like to wish everyone A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.....Remember CHRIST this SEASON and ALWAYS....make wonderful memories with family and friends....Memories last a LIFETIME.....

I will be writing quite a bit during this Christmas Season....Sharing different things that the Lord lays on my heart to share....

"LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE"

Recently, the Lord has been speaking to my heart and letting me know its time to "LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE".....

He has been revealing things little by little to me.....LaDonna, who is our pastors wife and my good friend and "SISTAH" asked me if i would like to "teach" our next FORGET ME NOTS get together, which we do every 2nd saturday of the month, for the young women in our church. I said I would love to. I was seeking the Lords guidance on what i should share with them.

I was floating around my pool one saturday and listening to my scripture medley cds that another wonderful friend Erin Campbell sent me (her website is on my main page) and i was listening to her speak and she was sharing different scriptures and the I heard her say Matthew 5:16 "Let your light shine" I became very excited, thats what GOD wanted me to share "LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE." I went and looked up the scriptures that were a part of this section called "DANCE" they all pertained to in one way or another to "LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE".....

Psalm 34:5 "They looked and they were radiant and their faces were not ashamed"

Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworth, noble and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your father Who is in Heaven."(amplified version)

Song of Solomon 2:10 "My beloved spoke and said to me: Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone."

Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a mighty one, a Savior (who saves) He will rejoice over you with joy, He will rest (in silent satisfaction) and in His love, He will be silent and make no mention (of past sins or even recall them) He will exalt over you with singing." (Amplified version)

Psalm 119:50 "This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction, that Your word has revived me and given me life." (Amplified version)

Psalm 27:4 "One thing I have desired of the Lord, That I will seek: I will dwell in the house of the Lord, All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His Temple."

These are just a few of the scriptures i shared with the girls that day.....

As i kept reading these scriptures over and over, I realized that at the end of each scripture i would add "Let Your Light Shine." Those 4 words just flowed with each of those scriptures.

It was spoken over me at a week of special services that God is letting you know that I AM READY FOR THE NEXT LEVEL....that was the beginning of many confirmations that would come forthin the days to follow....

Sometime during the night last night God placed on my heart 1 Thessalonians. Mind you, I was sound asleep and God woke me with this part of the bible, 1 Thessalonians.....At the end of this chapter, Gwen Shaw wrote something very powerful (I read the NKJV Women of Destiny Bible) as I am reading what she wrote, I became very excited, this is THE CONFIRMATION ABOVE ALL CONFIRMATIONS for ME....she wrote the following:

"KAIROS time is often related to "CRISIS TIME" It is important in these last days that we understand God's timetable and be prepared to play our role in God's plan for our destiny. This is KAIROS time for women. Women of Destiny this is your golden opportunity to obey that call of God on your life and march with the army of women whom God is calling into the whitened harvest fields and front lines. Come out of your secure hiding place, and walk on the water with JESUS. The thing you fear could turn out to be the greatest experience of your life, your finest hour, your very own KAIROS TIME." ~ Gwen Shaw ~

God is calling ME into that line now.....I am ready to walk on the water with JESUS beside me. I am ready for what my Father has for me to do. I am excited for the coming days as HE makes these PLANS more visible to me. Please pray for me in the coming days, that the things HE puts before me, I will do with great excellence for HIM.....

BREAKTHROUOGH 2009

This has to be one of my FAVORITE events of the year at Gulf Coast Assembly of God Church....

Its a time of anticipation and excitement for the LORD to really TOUCH US and SPEAK TO US in a way that is personal and He does this differently in each of us.....

BREAKTHROUGH 2009 started with the amazing word of BROTHER FRED FELTON....Fred had everyone on FIRE for JESUS....His words were RIGHT ON for everyone....How to HANDLE YOUR CRISIS.....

WE ALL NEED THE BREAD AND WATER FROM JESUS....When we thirst WE HAVE TO DRINK FROM THE LIVING WATERS TO REFRESH US....WE NEED THE BREAD TO NOURISH AND RESTORE OUR BODIES.....BREAD MEANING, WE NEED TO BE IN THE WORD OF GOD EVERYDAY, not just when WE NEED SOMETHING.....WE NEED TO ABSORB THE WORD LIKE A SPONGE.....ABSORB, ABSORB, ABSORB, ABSORB.....TAKE IT ALL IN....

We are all going thru struggles and trials and tribulations....But, if we can keep ourselves FOCUSED on JESUS and what HE is doing in US and Thru US, we can BEAT all these battles one by one....We may falter, we may fall, but its thru these times that OUR LORD AND SAVIOR is there to HELP US, PICK US UP and PUT US BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN....Its thru these times that HE is WALKING RIGHT BESIDE US, LEADING US AND GUIDING US.....And if we just keep on keeping on, WE WILL HAVE THE VICTORY.....

I SAY RIGHT NOW, I HAVE THE VICTORY! I HAVE THE VICTORY! NO WEAPON AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER! AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSEHOLD, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD....I WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT!!! I CLAIM RIGHT NOW BY THE AUTHORITY OF MY LORD, MY ROCK, MY SALVATION, THAT YOU DEVIL HAVE NO PLACE IN MY LIFE OR IN MY HUSBANDS LIFE...YOU WILL FLEE RIGHT NOW AND YOUR UGLY SELF WILL NOT APPEAR AGAIN!!! YOU ARE UNDER OUR FEET!!!!!.....

There is nothing more beautiful as when you are totally worshipping the LORD.....I mean, down on your face, crying out to HIM....SUBMITTING yourself to HIM.....

BREAKTHROUGH 2009 is off to an awesome start....Brother Fred will be with us again tonite...And I'm sure there will be LIVES CHANGED AGAIN....

Tuesday night we have BROTHER LARRY SHRODES coming to share with us.....Cant wait to hear what God has set for Brother Larry to share....His beautiful wife Deanna will be with him, who is such a sweetie we all love her......

Wednesday night we have Sister Marsha Wooley speaking....She is an amazing women of God, who is prophetic in her speaking and A REAL WOMEN.....she has been thru so much herself, but she doesnt let anything keep her down.....we can really learn alot from her.....

Soo, this is going to be an amazing week......will keep everyone updated.....

JUST REMEMBER KEEP YOUR NOSE AND TOES POINTED TOWARDS JESUS!!!

Can You Hear HIS Calling?

Good Morning Ladies,

Have you recently been noticing a "Difference" in your SPIRIT? A "Difference" in your outlook on LIFE? A NEW "Excitement" stirring inside of you? and you can't explain what it is....

Ladies, GOD IS CALLING YOU!!!! HE does it oh so gradually, sometimes you dont even realize whats going on, but YOU KNOW that something is happening IN you and THRU you...This is GOD AWAKENING YOU!!! and I have been experiencing this recently....HE has AWAKENED a whole NEW ME....HE's telling me I AM CALLING YOU for such a time as this.....

I want to share what God has been speaking to me and my heart.....He's given me words to share with you...

God has a CALLING for each one of us...I know he is CALLING ME into NEW WATERS, he has put on my heart thats its time TO LISTEN TO MY CALLING, and he has given me so many different scriptures to confirm this. God has opened the door to give me THIS TIME to SEEK that CALLING and to truly hear HIS WORD and to SHARE it with OTHERS. My OLD LIFE is gone, HE has HEALED me from that and has given me the HEART TO FORGIVE and HE is now telling me LISTEN TO THE CALLING I HAVE FOR YOU, GO FORTH AND SHARE THE WORDS I HAVE FOR YOU, TELL ALL WOMEN THE CALLING THAT I HAVE FOR YOUR LIFE. IT'S A NEW CHAPTER THAT I AM GIVING YOU, LISTEN TO ME, LISTEN TO THE WORDS I WILL PLACE BEFORE YOU AND GO AND SHARE THOSE WORDS THAT I HAVE PUT UPON YOUR HEART.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made
Let us REJOICE and be GLAD in it.

I say this each morning as I awake, even before I get out of bed.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (11) For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give you a future and a hope. (12)Then you will CALL upon ME and go and PRAY to ME and I will LISTEN to you. (13)And you will SEEK ME when you search for ME with ALL your heart.

Psalm37:3-4 (3)Trust in the Lord and do good;so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on his faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. (4)Delight yourself also in the Lord. and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

I had been CALLING upon the Lord for help and guidance. I was SEEKING him with ALL MY heart. I was PRAYING and HE did LISTEN to me. In return, the Lord began CALLING ME...Calling me into NEW WATERS....Telling ME, its TIME for YOU to share MY WORD that I have GIVEN YOU.....

He has put upon my heart that HE wants me to STEP OUT and let WOMEN know that the WORD of GOD is there for them also. SUBMIT YOUR WHOLE BEING to the LORD. Let HIM begin a MIGHTY work in YOU, let those feelings of excitement and joy come out in you. These are the FEELINGS that GOD has placed upon you. EXCITEMENT and JOY for HIM....Sing a NEW song says the Lord. Believe in me with all your heart...I will never leave you or forsake you....

When you SEEK God with all your heart and totally submit yourself to HIM, HE will listen. The things that are heavy on your heart, place them at the feet of JESUS....Cast ALL your burdens on HIM......

I did do this recently. I was going thru some things that I just couldnt handle. I tried and tried to hold on as long as I could. But, as the days went on, I knew that things had to change. I was carrying a "brick" on my shoulders, that just got heavier and heavier each day. I finally cried out to the Lord one night, saying "Lord help me. Hear my cries. I need your guidance and I need your direction for the path that YOU want me to take. You know my hearts desires Lord and you know that I have obeyed the door that you opened up for me a few months ago. But, Lord I can't keep doing this. This is not my hearts desire. Please help me get out of this situation. The Lord heard my cries and praying. He knew that I had been faithful to that door that he had opened for me. That door was opened for only a short season tho. The Lord started speaking to me during this time, and He just kept saying to me in a very small voice 4 different phrases that meant the same thing, but each one confirmed the other:

"GOD IS CALLING"
"I AM CALLING"
"GODS CALLING"
"DO YOU HEAR MY VOICE"

These were the words i kept hearing over and over while going thru the season I was in. Then one morning, God confirmed to me that YES, NOW IS THE TIME FOR THIS SEASON IN YOUR LIFE TO CLOSE and CLOSE it I did. I didn't close it until I HEARD from GOD that its now ok to do this.

The season I was in that I needed to get out of was a job. God opened that door for me when my husband and I needed it the most. In the beginning it was great. But, as time went on, it got harder and harder for me to keep on doing this. I had a medical issue, very painful allergy to my hands which made it difficult to do my job. I wasnt happy like I used to be. I was drained. I missed doing all things that i once was able to do. I truly missed my "INTIMATE" moments with the Lord. But, I kept on keeping on for as long as I could. I wanted to be FAITHFUL to what God had done for me. I wanted to be OBEDIENT. God saw this. He saw how FAITHFUL and OBEDIENT I was. HE HEARD ME when I WAS SEEKING HIM WITH ALL MY HEART. It was then that HE, MY FATHER, MY LORD AND SAVIOR rescued me from that situation. He knew I had done all I could do and needed to be taken out of it. He has blessed us in so many ways. My husband is working again driving our dump truck, that work has picked up some. The Lord has made it possible for me to have this TIME back at home, to enjoy the things that mean the most to me. The most wonderful thing that I am personally enjoying is having those INTIMATE and SPECIAL TIMES WITH MY LORD. Spending my time outside on my lanai, reading my devotions, journaling and just having QUIET conversations with MY DADDY....Because "I AM HIS LITTLE GIRL" and He wants whats best for me.....

I have my ZEST BACK....I AM EXCITED AS TO WHAT GOD HAS FOR ME....I KNOW ITS SOMETHING AMAZING.....

So ladies, if you are feeling some kind of NEW EXCITEMENT in YOUR SPIRIT let GODS VOICE SPEAK TO YOU.....HEAR HIS CALLING UPON YOUR LIFE.

Be OBEDIENT and FAITHFUL and SEEK HIM with ALL YOUR HEART and HE will BLESS YOU IN WAYS THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE.....

My hope is that women who read this will feel inspired. That God is ALWAYS FAITHFUL....

REMEMBER:

HEAR HIS CALLING UPON YOUR LIFE

SEEK HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART

PRAY

BE OBEDIENT AND FAITHFUL

ALWAYS FIND TIME FOR THOSE "INTIAMATE" MOMENTS WITH HIM....

Refresh and Renew Me....

Good Morning Ladies,

What a powerful scripture that is....

What an awesome sermon we had yesterday.....The praise and worship was annoited....The songs we sang were certainly Gods plan....The presence of the Lord and Holy Spirit filled the air...

Arent we special that our GOD is FAITHFUL.....That HE is UNCHANGEABLE.....That HE is UNSTOPPABLE....and that HE NEVER LOSES FAITH IN US.....Even when we sometimes lose our "zeal" and "hunger and thirst" for Him.....But, its during those times that our wonderful Father and Daddy stays right beside us...He knows our hearts.....He knows who truly loves and believes in him....And when we are going through these times, He stays closer and puts his arms around us and lets us know that it's going to be ok, the ZEST and ZEAL and HUNGER and THIRST are still there, but it got buried amongst all the "STUFF" that has been happening in our lives...We sometimes dont realize whats happening, but one day it finally HITS US, FULL FORCE and we say "Wow what was that" its our GOD telling us "It's Time to Come Back To Me." "Its Time to Come Back to the Heart of Worship."

In these days ahead, we need to have that zeal and hunger and that special relationship with our God...These days ahead are going to be hard ones, we cant lose our sight on whats important. We cant let the fear, injustice, economy,family situations get in the way of whats really important in our lives....We need to have JESUS as our FOCUS and CENTER in our Lives. We need to each day, REFRESH our HEARTS, REJUVENATE our LIVES and FOCUS ON OUR WONDERFUL FATHER, who IS ABOVE ALL, who is MIGHTIER than any CIRCUMSTANCE, who LOVES US for who we are, because HE CREATED US through HIS IMAGE....He knew us before we were knitted in our mothers womb....How awesome is that?

Ladies, if today you are finding yourself in that place that you say "I have lost something along the way, I need that hunger and thirst and zeal, I need the presence of the Lord in my life again" I encourage you, find a QUIET place and just submit yourself to the Lord, tell him what is on your heart, let him know that you want those things back in your life, that you're sorry that you lost Him somewhere along the way..." He will understand....He knows that He was not going to be absent forever and HE will welcome you with open arms, because HIS ARMS were never closed....Because ladies, it happened to ME.....and I know first hand what a TRUE LOVING FATHER WE HAVE.....He Loves us ALL so much....What an awesome feeling that is....

If you know someone today that is going thru some rough times, call them and tell them that you LOVE them....If you see someone and you know they are struggling give them a HUG, because sometimes thats all it takes a HUG OR I LOVE YOU to get them back on the right road again...

I love all my ladies....I thank God every day for each of you.

Thank you Pastor Keith for a wonderful sermon yesterday. It's just what I needed and I know so many others also.....

Refresh me and Renew me Lord. Let my heart be filled with your presence and filled with the Holy Spirit. Give me the strength when I grow weak. Give me wisdom in situations that need to be addressed. Lord, give me a pure heart filled with your word and always let me find MY TIME and PLACE to be with you.....Thank you Lord for loving me and never giving up on me....Thank you for always being beside me.....Because without you, I am NOTHING.....in Jesus name, amen....

BUILD AN ALTER....

Morning Ladies,

Yes, its been awhile since i have been here.....Life is never dull these days.....Just not enough hours in the day to get done what we want....But, Praise God, He knows us and He knows when we need to fall at His knees and just cry out to Him and cry "Lord, I need more of you...I need to feel you more in my life...Lord, I'm sorry for not spending more time with you" "Lord, direct me to where you want me to be. direct my steps." This is what the Lord let me do.....He let me fall to my knees in my own living room and just cry out to him.....He is an awesome God....A god who will never leave us or forsake us....A God who will always love us, even when we are not "Perfect" in His eyes....Thank you Jesus for loving me so much, that you died for me.....

A couple Sundays ago Pastor Keith did a sermon titled "Build An Alter".....That really brought alot of emotions home to me....I had been struggling with a few things....Working full time again, our business slowing down to a crawl, not knowing if we were going to lose it or not, physically and mentally i was exhausted....During this time, i had stopped doing so many of things i enjoyed doing and one of them was having MY TIME with the Lord....I missed my PERSONAL time with my father, my daddy.....Pastor Keith said "We need to build OUR ALTER" a private alter for just you and Jesus." and that is something that stuck with me....I needed MY OWN ALTER, somewhere i could go and shut the door, shut the world out....and thats what i have begun to do...with the help of my very dear friend, LaDonna, she gave me the idea when we had lunch one day and she told me that she was in the process of making a room in her house her "FOO FOO" room, where she could make it girly and feminine and spend time with the Lord.....That day when i was crying out to God, i was crying "Lord, please help me find a place to build my alter to be with you and only you." and at that moment He gave me that place....I have a "guest" room in the back of my house....Well, that room is now being converted into what i am calling "MY SANCTUARY"....I have begun decorating it with all my Inspirational things. Christian Art work and writings that a dear friend has given me, different crosses that i have been collecting, pretty vases and teacups, etc....I have a beautiful tropical pull out couch in My Sanctuary and end tables and a coffee table. It looks just like a regular living room...This has become my place that i go to, to have my time with my father.....i love my devotionals and books that i am reading....i love that i have a place to go, to go and shut the door and shut out the world, for just a little while....

Just like my sanctuary, which is a work in progress,

I am also a work in progress.....

God is preparing me for another level, he hasn't revealed it fully to me yet, but He has spoken to me and said "It's time to get your things in order, this is your time to blossom, just hear my words and FOLLOW ME. I have a plan for you." so, this is what i will be doing...getting my "things" in order and FOLLOWING HIS WORD.....

"Father God, I just thank you for the love that show me everyday. Thank you for never leaving me. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for the fresh anoiting that you have given me, for the strength that you have brought back into me. You are my father, my daddy, Abba, The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end...and i can truly "DO ALL THINGS THRU CHRIST, WHO STRENGTHENS ME." thank you Lord for all that you do.....amen

I wish a blessed day for you all and may God bless you in ways that you can't imagine....We serve an awesome God.....

Its hard to believe we have entered into another NEW YEAR.....I am calling 2009: 2009 is fine and DEVINE....2008 is behind us....we leave behind the old and bring in the NEW....2008 was a year of many challenges and struggles....We thought many times, how are we ever going to make it through? You know how we made it through? Through the GRACE of God and for the LOVE that OUR GOD has for each of us...He brought us through every trial, every tribulation....He made us stronger thru all these things....We sometimes may not have realized that he was strengthening us, but he was....It was during these times that he was testing us...Testing OUR FAITH in him....I sure am glad that I passed the test....I'm not saying it was easy, because it wasnt....But, I am stronger today because of the trials and struggles....I'm glad that MY GOD brought me to my knees, to hear me say, "God, i need you....I need your help....I cant do this on my own....I need to feel your presence, to see your face....And what a testimony it is, when you are down on your knees, crying out to God, your heart breaking, your life under fire and feeling the arms of Christ enfolding you and hearing him say, "Its going to okay, as long as you believe in Me and FOLLOW ME....I'm so glad that i have a FATHER, a Daddy who loves me so much.....

In 2009, I believe that we will be seeing many changes...Changes in our country, in our personal lives and in our churches....Things will never be the same.....Change is good tho.....Everything and everyone has seasons....When one season ends, another begins....Dont ever be afraid of change....God always has our best interests at heart....He knows us better than we know ourselves....

This year is the year of FRESH START.....Refresh yourselves in the Lord...Refresh relationships that have gone stale....Refresh your minds.....

During our sermon this morning, Pastor Keith gave us some good tips on how to get a FRESH START in 2009 and i want to share them with you....

Isaiah 43:18-19
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old;
"Behold, I will do a new thing.
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I shall even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert."

Isnt it wonderful that we can leave behind the old and that God will do a NEW THING.....just that thought makes me feel warm inside....

S - Stop making excuses for your past.

T - Take an inventory of your life.

A - Act in faith

R - Refocus our thoughts. Rethink the way we think.

T - Trust. Trust God.

Each one of us is given a NEW start this year. Refresh yourselves in the word of God....Let Him speak into your lives.....Be open to what God has planned for your life. Dont question Him...Just FOLLOW HIM....I have learned to FOLLOW HIM and i am so happy that I am His child and His daughter.....

May 2009 be Fine and Devine for each of you. I pray that this will be a year of recovery, a year of expectations, a year that finds you in a place with our Lord and Savior that you have never been before.....

To you all, i pray for each of you every day and every night....I may not know all of you, but i pray for each of you....That you will be refreshed and renewed in the NEW year ahead.....

A Different Version of the Twelve Days of Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve Day My Friends,

I was looking on a Christian Ecard site that i subscribe to and i saw this "different" rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas and i wanted to share it with you. It put a whole new meaning to that song for me and made so much sense to me....I hope you will enjoy it.....

The PARTRIDGE in the pear tree was Jesus Christ.

TWO TURTLE DOVES were the Old and New Testaments.

THREE FRENCH HENS stood for faith, hope and love.

The FOUR CALLING BIRDS were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The FIVE GOLDEN RINGS recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.

The SIX GEESE a laying stood the six days of creation.

SEVEN SWANS a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit-Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhoratation, Contribution, Leadership and Mercy.

The EIGHT MAIDS a-milking were the eight beautitudes.

NINE LADIES dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit-Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.

The TEN Lords a-leaping were the Ten Commandments.

The ELEVEN PIPERS piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.

The TWELVE DRUMMERS drumming symbolized the the twelve points or belief in the Apostles's Creed.

The history of this is:

From `1558 until 1829, certain religions were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a song for these young children. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meeting known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code for a religous reality which the children could remember....

I really like this rendition...I enjoyed reading the "TRUE" meaning of this carol.

JESUS REASON FOR THE SEASON.....

Merry Christmas Everyone,

I cant believe that Christmas is almost here....2 days actually....where has the time gone? seems like just the other day we were saying " Only 3 months till Christmas"....

During these busy days, the hustle and bustle of shopping and getting ready to decorate, so many of us have forgotten the TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS....Sure, its nice to go shopping and exchange gifts, get ready for family, but deep in our hearts, what is the TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS?

Its the night that OUR SAVIOR was born.....Its the night when this little babe laid in the MANGER with no crib for a bed, but he still laid down his SWEET HEAD, but the STARS looked down where HE laid, and that LITTLE BABE slept on the hay....Here was this beautiful little babe, sleeping in a manger with only hay to keep him safe and warm.....He didnt care that he didnt have all the BLANKETS to keep him warm and fuzzy....He knew that he was safe....He knew that in the days ahead that he would be showing us how to be SAFE AND WARM, if we only would FOLLOW HIM.....

We need to remember that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!! not all the gifts, decorations, and commercialism......

"FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN" and his name is JESUS...A name ABOVE ALL NAMES.....

My prayer for each of you, is that you find the LOVE of JESUS in your HEART during this beautiful season and forever....May the Love of Christ become entwined in your everyday lives....May he ALWAYS be the FIRST in your life....

LIFE.......

Good Morning Gods Ladies,

That one word LIFE......ahhhh, sometimes LIFE gets ahead of us, brings us a few curves, but God is always there to "Take the Wheel" and straighten the road of Life for us....Thank you Jesus....

I havent blogged in a few weeks....Sorry everyone.....So many different things have happened over the past few weeks that my LIFE got ahead of me.....

many of you know that carl and my dump truck business was going thru a hard time......Thru the SAVING GRACE of GOD we have come thru that with glory.....God provided for us, which is TRULY a GOD ORDAINED thing.....We still are recovering, but each day God is giving us new HOPE and NEW PROVISION, which is one of the reasons that i havent blogged lately.....

God opened a door for me to teach in our churches preschool....For months i had been praying, "Please Lord, please help me find a job, a job that YOU want me to do" and He did.....Ive been with the preschool now for a few weeks and its been busy, wonderful and exhausting....I love our little ones.....They are sweet, but FULL OF ENERGY.....lol.....But, God placed me there for a REASON, actually for 2 reasons.....He knows that i love children (i couldnt have children) and He knew that i was crying out for employment.....So, this is where He said i needed to be.....YAY!!!!

Now, the DEVIL doesnt like when our PRAYERS have been answered.....he tries to take away anything that is good happening in our lives.....Well, I got the flu a week ago....I was out of work for a week, just went back this past Friday.....I had a temperature of 101.8 for 3 days.....I went to the Dr, he couldnt give me anything because it was viral, just stay in bed and out of work....so, thats all i could do.....

During this time of being sick, I also missed a very SPECIAL Womens Event that we were holding at our church Sat, Nov 15th...It was our FALL ESCAPE....we had MARSHA WOOLEY an awesome speaker coming, very SPECIAL to us all who know her.....I was really bummed by that.....But, I prayed that morning that God would touch all the ladies that were going to be there....I found out later there were over 100 women at the EVENT....Praise God.....the day was a beautiful one for the ladies.....I was not there physically, but in SPIRIT i was.....

A few months back i had done a Christian Radio Interview with a wonderful friend of mine, Erin Campbell....We had done the interview via the phone, because Erin is based out of Ohio, and it was being aired this same weekend......Well, the devil couldnt do anything about that.....The showed aired that Sunday.....The feedback has been tremendous.....you can hear my show by going to www.waterthroughtheword.com and click on cindy nelsons story.....this will be a different blog entry, this was very powerful.....

During the time that i was sick, God brought these words to me in a song that i love......God gave me the time to be with HIM.....

LET THE WEAK SAY I AM STRONG, (thank you Jesus for for making me strong in my weakest moments)

LET THE POOR SAY I AM RICH (Thank you Jesus for showing me how RICH i truly am in YOUR LOVE)

LET THE BLIND SAY I CAN SEE, (thank you Jesus for giving me "sight" in my darkest hours)

IT'S WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE IN ME......

HOSANNA, HOSANNA, TO THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN,

thank you Jesus for all that you do in my LIFE.....thank you for STRENGTH, FOR RICHNESS OF YOUR LOVE, FOR THE SIGHT THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME WHEN IT SEEMS TO BE THE DARKEST OF TIMES.....Thank you Jesus, for dying for me, so that i may LIVE.....For your Love that you give abundantly and Thank you Jesus for ALWAYS WALKING BESIDE ME and helping me with LIFE.....

I pray you all have a blessed day and week in the Lord.....

Always remember, He will never leave us or forsake us...Cast all your cares upon HIM....

Our WOW Monthly Event is Tonite....

I love the 4th Tuesday Evening of each month.....

This is the evening when all ladies are invited to a potluck dinner and have a chance to "relax" and have fellowship with other women and have the opportunity to listen to a guest speaker and be blessed and ministered too....

Women are so busy in todays world....We are working, taking care of family, doing laundry, etc,. that its so nice to just leave that behind for one evening a month.....

Women need to hear Gods word that is just meant for them.....They need to be ministered to, to be prayed for, to have that SPECIAL time with God.....and this is what we try to do.....

We decorate each month with a different theme....This month we have decorated with an Autumn Harvest theme....it looks so pretty with all the autumn colors....This is one of our favorite months to decorate and the other is Christmas.....

Our guest speaker this evening will be CC Honacker, a pastors wife from the Brandon area...I am very excited to hear what she has to share....

I have been up since 4am......which is not the "norm" for me.....But, my little mind starts working overtime in preparing for tonites event.....i go thru my "mind" checklist....is everything on the tables, dont forget to do the program, make sure all paper work is on the tables, are we going to have enough food, etc....Those who know me, know i am organized and I like things in "order...LOL....may not always work out that way, but I try.

The Lord blessed us with some REALLY COOL weather....so, it really will feel like Autumn tonite...thank you Lord for that....

As I get ready to start my day, I want to wish everyone a blessed day in the Lord..Be happy knowing that our Lord God is with us and he will bless us abundantly.....

Autumn...What a Beautiful Time of the Year....

Autumn is the most beautiful time of the year......

Originally from NY, i think about all the beautiful colors that God made for us....the golden yellows, vibrant oranges, reds...It amazes me the colorful pallet he used for this time of the year.....

When we moved to Florida 4 years ago, I didnt even know that autumn was here...i didnt see the beautiful changing color of the leaves or the crispness of the air getting cooler....I kept thinking, wow they don't have autumn here.....

As time went on and the next Autumn season came around, a friend had said "Do you see the flowers on those trees changing color, Autumn is here" and i started feeling the coolness of the air, the change was here, but in a whole different way....

This is the way God want us to be.....He doesnt want us to stay the SAME...He wants us to keep GROWING and CHANGING.....He doesnt want us to stay in our COMFORT ZONE.....He's telling us, I want you to CHANGE just as each season changes, I want you to GROW into the purpose I have chosen for you.....I want your eyes to SEE ALL the BEAUTY that I have CREATED.....Most importantly, GOD wants to see our BEAUTY in ourselves and others......He wants us to have that VIBRANT GLOW of the autumn leaves.....He wants us to step out and reach out to those who need to know THEIR BEAUTY.....

I'm saying right now, today, if there is someone you know who needs to know their INNER BEAUTY or needs to hear that they are SPECIAL and BEAUTIFUL, i encourage you, to find that person, it may even be someone you havent met yet or dont really know them that well, God will place you where HE KNOWS he wants you to be.....Encourage them today, let them know that they are BEAUTIFUL in the eyes of GOD and they are beautiful to you.....

Life is short.....JESUS is coming!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!! make each day a special day and spread it throughout out your community and the world!!!!

I cant wait for service this morning....Its going to be an awesome day.....

Encouragement and Strength.....

As i awoke this morning, the sun was shining, my house was quiet. My beautiful pets were still sleeping and carl was snoring peacefully. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen and made myself a nice BIG cup of coffee....I need my coffee when i first get up......As i fixed my coffee, i took my bible out onto my lanai and enjoyed the sound of the birds chirping and just enjoying my gardens and flowers.....Looking at all this i said to myself:

"This is the day the Lord
has given us. Let us rejoice
and be glad in it."

I began thinking of all of those who need ENCOURAGEMENT and STRENGTH.....and a scripture came to me.....Its Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with my rightous right hand."

What an awesome God we serve. Who else would do this for us? Who else would be there for us at any given moment? God is ALWAYS there....he is never far away from us, as long as we invite him into our lives and obey his word and really listen with open hearts, he will help us and he will give us a strength that no human could ever give us.....

I encourage you today....If you are going thru something and you need strength and encouragement find a place where you can talk to God.....tell him what you are going thru....Ask him for encouragement and strength.....if you talk to him from your heart, he will hear you.....he does not leave us....He is ALWAYS THERE.....

We need to ENCOURAGE and be STRONG for each other.....We need to be there for each other...To LIFT EACH OTHER UP.......If you know someone who is going thru something, go to them and say "I am here for you, let me pray for you"....Even if they havent been saved, pray for them, because God placed you there for a reason....and God will work thru you to them.....

I just pray for you that God gives each one of you STRENGTH and ENCOURAGEMENT for the things that are ahead for you......God has a plan and purpose for each one of us and its HIS PLAN and HIS PURPOSE, so you better be ready for the CALLING, because it is COMING.....

All In The Day of CIndy.....

Hello lovely ladies,

I thought i would share an amusing story about myself.....

God loves when we can laugh at ourselves and make others laugh too..... :-)

This little diddy happened awhile ago, but when i think about it, it seems like yesterday.....

Sit back ladies and enjoy this, because i am sure some of you can relate to this.....

I was being a responsible woman and going for my yearly mammogram....I don't know about you, but i really do not like having this done...Dont like the gurls being pushed and squeezed in ways that i didnt know they could go.....i have found our "gurls" are contourtionists.....Well, in i go, they get me ready....they put those round ballie stickers on them and away they go.....dont breathe, breathe...put your left arm this way, put your right arm this way, i wanted to start singing "Do the Hokey Pokey and turn the gurls around".....ok.....its all done, you can get dressed now...fine...yay.....i get dressed and leave and i had shopping to do in Walmart....I do my shopping, nothing eventful....just regular shopping.....I have my receipt out to show the door person, i go to leave and the BELLS go off like im shoplifting something...im mortified, because theres nothing thats not bagged, receipt is checked again, the door person ok go ahead, think its thats simple.....nah not for me....IT GOES OFF AGAIN....the door person has a look of what the heck? she just says go ahead (im also a frequent shopper there, if they had frequent shopper miles i'd be right up there) i start putting my bags in my trunk, and then i felt something scratching me under my shirt, thought something was biting me....had to finish putting stuff in the trunk first....then i look down my shirt and THERE WERE THE METAL BALLIE THINGS STILL STUCK ON THE GURLS.....i started laughing, got them off and i had to go back in to tell the gurl what the problem was...i told her, i thought she was going to split her gut she laughed so hard.....she said "You just made my year".....
MORAL OF THE STORY......make sure and check that all items are removed and accounted for!!!!

God is so good.....He has given us a sense of humor......

God and Stress

Good morning Ladies,

How many of us are dealing with stress right now? You will probably all say ME.....

My pastor gave a sermon last night that really hit home to myself and I'm sure others as well...We are living in a very stressful world right now....Unemployment is the highest its been since i've been in this world and I have been here for awhile :-)...Families are losing their homes, gas prices are soaring and we all have had that feeling of FEAR and are still feeling it....

Dont let this FEAR take over your lives.....Dont let this FEAR interfere with the Love that you have for God....This is what the devil would like us to do....He is just waiting for us to FALL, but we serve an awesome God, who loves us, who will never leave us or forsake us...He brings us from the darkest valleys and gives us LIGHT.....He will not let us FALL as long as we are FOLLOWING HIM.....

Jesus is telling each one us of right now, in John 6:35 and Jesus said to them "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger and he who believes in Me shall never thirst." We need to HUNGER after Him, we need to BELIEVE in Him....We need to cast ALL our cares upon him....

These are trying times.....These are stressful times.....But when you wait upon the Lord and walk everyday with Him, he will bring MIRACLES to your lives.....Just as he has done in mine.....God, knows what we need, HE knows us better than we know ourselves...

On a personal note....God is my LIFE and I have learned to cast ALL my cares upon him...Its not always easy.....I have been praying for months now, "Lord, please help us financially. You know the struggles that we are having. Please dont let us lose our business...Lord, help me to find a job that You want me to have." i prayed this for at least 5 months. Things were getting worse and worse...Our dump truck had a major repair done, that cost thousands of dollars....That really hit us hard....There were nights that i literally cried out to Jesus and said "Jesus, Jesus, we need a MIRACLE now (and we know that we dont always hear from God that instant), please help us find a way out of this situation." and its thru the TRUST that I have for the Lord and the LOVE that HE has for ME, that 2 weeks ago He found a job for me.....He put me in the PLACE that he wants me to be.....He placed me back in our preschool at our church, because this TIME is where HE wanted me to be......

MIRACLES happen everyday with God. You just need to TRUST, HUNGER and BELIEVE in Him.

As my close friend says and i say it all the time now: LET GO, LET GOD.....

and remember ladies: STRESSED spelled backwards is DESSERTS!!!! WHO WANTS SOME CHOCOLATE.....

Good Morning Ladies,

This is my first attempt at BLOGGING.....

A special friend of mine was telling our ladies at our planning meeting last night, about how to start a blog of our own....I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but didnt know how to go about it....

I am hoping that my blog will be an inspiration for women all over the country.....
